  Keeping Your Home Safe
It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out the value your home and memories...
  Part of Our Community

In addition to the hours volunteers spend on personal training, HVFD members are also committed to educating our community in fire prevention. On an almost weekly basis, you can see volunteers spending time with many different facilities including public schools, private schools, senior citizen facilities, private industry and more.

The Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department's Mission
is and always has been, to bring the Hamilton Fire District one of the best trained and professional volunteer fire departments in the State of Montana. The challenge is that endeavor is to maintain that level of expertise with ever-increasing budget constraints. The H.V.F.D. proudly carries a class 5 I.S.O. rating with the insurance industry; one of the best of any volunteer departments in the stte. As H.V.F.D. strives to maintain our insurance rating and be the best, we must continue to train extensively. Our volunteers are committed to that training, bringing to every fire the ability to attack fires aggressively, staying within the bounds of safety, and stopping any further damage from the time we arrive on the scene. H.V.F.D. will continue to be committed to our community bringing the best trained, aggressive and professional fire fighters to every scene with the intention of saving taxpayer's money either through reduced property insurance rates or reduction in property damage.
